Dear graduates of the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute!

In 2012, the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Over the years, our university has trained more than 14 thousand specialists who have made a significant contribution to the development of Russian science, education and culture. Many graduates of the ArcPI have become well-known scientists, prominent public figures, heads of educational organizations, recognized teachers, Olympic champions, doctors and candidates of science.
Today, the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute conducts systematic work aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of teacher education. In 2010, ArcPI became a member of the international organization "Great Charter of Universities". This year, ArkPI took the seventh place among pedagogical higher educational institutions in the general ranking of universities in Kazakhstan. In 2014, the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute successfully passed the institutional accreditation.
The development strategy of Kazakhstan, defined by the Head of State N. A. Nazarbayev, is aimed at increasing the country's competitiveness in the world community. One of the factors of its successful implementation is the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020. The Head of State set an ambitious goal: to turn Kazakhstan into a world-class knowledge center. And the main focus is on improving the image of the profession and the status of the teacher. This work has already begun to be built in three major areas: providing teachers with decent pay, radically improving the skills of teachers and systematically improving the public image. A teacher is a key element of the entire education system. On the whole, the quality of training of young people in school, vocational education, and universities depends on it. And especially-the development of the ability to think and learn – in today's world, this is absolutely necessary for everyone throughout their active life.
The main mission of the Altynsarin Arctic Research Institute is to train competent, multilingual, knowledgeable and proficient in the mechanisms and tools for implementing the modern model of education, teaching staff with a pronounced civic position for the educational, cultural and social development of the region.
We hope that the Association of Graduates of the ArcPI will have a significant impact on the development of our university. We are sure that every graduate of the ArcPI will honorably carry the title of a graduate of one of the best pedagogical universities in the country and will always increase the glory of his native university.
