The rector of the institute, Yerzhan Amirbekuly, spoke at the opening of the event. In his speech, he said: “Paying attention to the education and upbringing of the younger generation is a concept akin to the content of the book. Through the book we can show an ideological approach to national interests. I am confident that selling books of various types at affordable prices within the framework of the project and placing them on shelves will teach students and city residents a culture of reading.”
It should be noted that the KITAP-AMANAT project is being implemented within the framework of the issue of publishing books by domestic authors, which was voiced by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the second National Congress, held last year in Turkestan.
