We remind you that we have started accepting applications for participation in the competitive selection for the “500 Scientists” scientific internship abroad, in the leading scientific centers of the world.

The duration of the internship is from 3 to 12 months at universities, research centers and other scientific institutions.

The government pays interns the cost of their internship, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and a monthly stipend. The size of the scholarship varies depending on the city and standard of living in a particular country.

Requirements for applicants for a scientific internship:
1. availability of an academic degree of Doctor of Science, Candidate of Science, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Science, Master;
2. experience of continuous actual work for the last 12 (twelve) months in the chosen area of specialization of scientific research in subjects of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activity that are legal entities;
3. availability of an unconditional invitation;
4. knowledge of state and foreign languages at a level corresponding to the requirements established by the Working Body; mandatory presence of a certificate of passing exams in the state language with a result of at least level B1, in a foreign language with an IELTS result of at least 5.0 out of 9.0.
5. availability of scientific results (articles, etc.)

The list of universities, research centers, leading foreign organizations recommended for scientific internships includes more than 400 universities, research centers, organizations from 34 countries, included in the top 250 international academic rankings QS World University Rankings, Academic Rankings of World Universities, Times Higher Education World University Rankings and Saimago Institutions Rankings.

The list of priority areas of scientific research for scientific internships includes 134 specialties. Priority specialties are distributed in such areas as research in the field of engineering, natural, social and human sciences, as well as in the fields of information and communication technologies, medicine, art, education, agriculture, national security and defense.

The deadline for submitting documents is October 13, 2023.

Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition is carried out on purpose (in paper form, as well as a scanned version on electronic media) at JSC “Center for International Programs” at the address: Astana, Syganak street, 70, business center “Syganak”, 5th floor , 508 room.

Let us remind you that in the case of submission of documents by a third party, the presence of an original notarized power of attorney from the applicant for a representative to submit documents for participation in the competitive selection.
