Within the framework of the project "Modernization of secondary education", implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the financial and technical World Bank, on April 20-21, a seminar for developers of educational programs in pedagogical specialties is being held in Astana. The seminar is conducted by scientists from the Finnish Hame University of Applied Sciences together with colleagues from the School of Education of Nazarbayev University.

The teachers of the Altynsarin Institute also take an active part in this event.

The seminar will discuss the results of the work performed during the implementation of the project. Participants exchange experience in developing and piloting 30 new educational programs. More than 900 colleagues from 17 universities of the country were trained on the introduction of new educational programs.

Within the framework of the seminar, a certificate ceremony will be held for 105 educational program developers, recognized leaders of change and agents of change in their universities, to strengthen the training of teaching staff.
Congratulatory speech will be made by acting. Chairman of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education Banu Narbekova, Ambassador of Finland to Kazakhstan Soili Myakeläinen-Bukhanist, Project Manager of the HJAME University side Liisa Postareff, Dean of the School of Education of Nazarbayev University Aida Sagintayeva.

It should be noted that the project will be continued, with the scaling of the teaching experience of the teaching staff in all 49 universities of the country implementing pedagogical programs.
