Today, in an online format on the basis of the National Center for the Development of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a seminar "Approaches to the development and implementation of joint educational programs and double degree programs" was held.

The seminar was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the leadership of the National Center for the Development of Higher Education, the director of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating, representatives of higher educational institutions, including
the head of academic programs and the office of methodological and scientific work of the Altynsarin Institute Zhumabayeva S.B., as well as the heads of the EP of the institute.
The purpose of the seminar is to identify problems and prospects for the development, implementation, design of joint and double-degree educational programs.
It should be noted that the activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in line with the Bologna Process and the Lisbon Convention ensure the development of new joint and double-degree education programs, providing education at leading foreign universities. This is also in line with the Concept for the Development of Higher Education and Science in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029, approved this year.
The event discussed the main problems and aspects of the development, implementation, accreditation and recognition of joint educational programs. The seminar will serve to further expand internationalization, and in the future will lead to the further development of double-degree and joint educational programs of the OVPO with foreign partner universities.
