On the eve of the May holidays and Victory Day, a nationwide patriotic dictation "Yerkin el urpagy" was held.

The organizers of the event are the ministries of information and social development, education, science and higher education and local executive bodies. The dictation was held throughout the country in online and offline format in the state language. At 11 a.m., the participants began writing.
More than 75 students of the Altynsarin Institute wrote a dictation, under the guidance of teachers of the Kazakh language and literature program. The text was read by senior teacher Tautina Bakytgul Agzamkyzy. According to the terms, the lecturer reads the text three times, numbering 141 words about the establishment of the country's independence and about the responsibility that now lies on the shoulders of the youth. First, they listen to him, then they write the text under dictation, and at the end they check it.
The event is aimed at popularizing the achievements of independence and sovereignty of the country, educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and instilling national values and ideals.
Based on the results of the dictation, the level of proficiency in the state language is determined, as well as the formation of literate writing skills in the state language.
It should be noted that the nationwide patriotic dictation "Yerkin el urpagy" with the participation of all Kazakhstanis, regardless of age, was launched in pursuance of the order of the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. pre-election period, on the eve of May holidays and Victory Day.
