Today Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after Y. Altynsarin celebrated the Day of Knowledge with a solemn line, to which freshmen were invited. The event was attended by the faculty, staff and senior students of the Institute.

An integral part of the holiday is the performance of the anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

By tradition, the Chairman of the Board, Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor Yerzhan Amirbekuly addressed the students with a welcoming speech.
“According to tradition, on this day we not only give a solemn start to the new academic year, but also welcome yesterday's schoolchildren into a friendly family. For first-year students, a very special time begins when they can try themselves in various projects, learn new things, create and win. Students are given a special role in the life of society, the state provides great opportunities for the realization of professional and creative abilities. This is the time when young people lay the foundation for their whole future life. Find friends, establish useful contacts, travel, choose a profession. ArkPI will certainly help in all this,” the rector of the university said in his speech.

The head of the office-registrar, as well as representatives of youth and student organizations of the university congratulated the students on the beginning of the academic year.
The speeches of officials were accompanied by performances by creative teams and solo performers.
The most touching part of the line was hugs and a photo session.

At the end of the solemn line, students with tutors went on an organized excursion to get acquainted with the university, as well as for the first curatorial hours..
