On October 5, 2024, Altynsarin Institute hosted a festive event called "Student Initiation".

The event was organized to support first-year students and help them adapt to a new environment.

Our students had the opportunity to take their first step into adulthood in a festive atmosphere within the walls of the city theater.

The Chairman of the Board - Rector Yerzhan Amirbekuly congratulated the first-year students on the beginning of their student life and expressed kind words of encouragement.

According to the established tradition, senior students passed on a symbolic torch of knowledge to the newcomers. Young people joining the ranks of students took a solemn oath to carry the name of an ArkPI student with honor and dignity. In a solemn atmosphere, the first-year students swore to meet high standards and performed the student anthem "Gaudeamus" together with the chamber choir.

After the ceremony of handing over the student ID card to the first-year students by the rector of the university, a gala concert began.
The congratulatory program was opened by the vocal and instrumental ensemble of the institute. The ensemble was joined by a choreographic ensemble, a KVN team, and a dombra ensemble. All student associations of the institute were represented.
