The purpose of the EP: to train a qualified teacher of Russian language and literature, competent in the professional field.

• improving the quality of training of philologists, their professional and methodological competence through the study of cultural (primarily linguistic and literary), socio-historical experience;
• improvement of linguistic, speech, literary, communicative and stylistic knowledge, skills and abilities of students;
• improving the skills of students to comprehend the patterns of language, stylistically competently use language units in communicative activities;
• formation of readiness for social and communicative interaction, for professional work, improvement of information literacy;
• ensuring high-quality professional training of future teachers of Russian language and literature in accordance with the social order of the society and regulatory legal documents in the field of higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• mastering the methods of physical, spiritual and intellectual self-development, self-knowledge, self-reflection, culture of pedagogical thinking and social and communicative behavior.
