The Department of Music and Fine Arts carries out its activities in accordance with the developed Strategic Development Plan of the Arkalyk City Administration for the years 2017-2021. The activity is aimed at the realization of the strategic goal - the development of competitive teachers of music and fine arts with competencies in the organizations of the education system. Training is conducted on EP 5В010700 - Fine arts and drawing and 5В010600 - Music education.
EP 5B010700 – fine arts and drawing - 2, 6B01405 – Art work, graphics and design – 28, including full – Time students-30. Out of 30 students, 2 are holders of a state educational grant. EP 5B010600 – music education - 80, including full – Time students - 60, part-time students-20. out of 80 students, 3 are holders of state educational grants. As part of the implementation of the strategic plan, the Department (Protocol No. 1 of August 27, 2020) has done work in the following areas:

1. Preparation of multilingual pedagogical staff

From 2013-2014 academic year on EP 5В010700 "Fine Arts and Drawing" disciplines are conducted in two languages in the combined groups - Professionally-oriented Russian language. From 2013-2014 academic year, EP5B010600 "Musical education" disciplines are conducted in two languages in the combined groups - Professionally-oriented Russian language, professionally-oriented Kazakh language.

2. Strengthening the scientific and methodological support of the educational process of specialties

The department carries out annual work to update the curriculum of specialties, taking into account the needs of employers, as well as on the basis of letters from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
