The Altynsarin Institute hosted a city scientific and methodological seminar "Organization of information security for preschool children in the digital world."

The purpose of the seminar: to offer teachers-educators of a preschool organization various methods for the effective development of their digital skills to improve and protect children's knowledge and skills in the safe use of digital technologies, to form scientific and theoretical representations of new risks and dangers of the Internet.

The event, organized by the teaching staff of the EP "Preschool education and upbringing", was held in the form of a theoretical and practical part. Pedagogical workers were invited, including heads, educators and psychologists of preschool organizations "Golden Key", "Akbota", "Alpamys".

The participants of the workshop discussed the problem of information security of preschoolers. In her report, the head of the EP "Preschool education and upbringing" Zhandildina R.E. noted the need to identify effective approaches in teaching teachers of preschool organizations modern pedagogical technologies for the formation of safe behavior skills in children in the information space.

In the course of the seminar, the opinions of educational psychologists were also heard. According to them, the problems of protecting preschool children can be solved by means of controlling and restricting access to the mass media. The system of measures aimed at ensuring the information security of children in preschool organizations involves identifying threats associated with the components of the information environment, the specifics of its impact on preschoolers; determination of directions and ways to improve the competence of teachers in these matters.
The practical part of the workshop was held in the form of games and performing creative tasks using the Quiver, Tik Tok, Padlet applications.
All well-coordinated work in teams confirmed: professionalism, initiative, activity, competence of teachers of preschool organizations. According to the results of the scientific and methodological seminar, the participants were awarded certificates.
