On May 4-8, the Asian championships in kettlebell lifting and bodybuilding were held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek.

Rostislav Ismagilov, a freshman of the Physical Culture and Sports program of the Altynsarin Institute, took part in the Asian championship among juniors and adults in kettlebell lifting in the weight category of 63 kg. According to the results of the competition, Rostislav took 2nd place among adults in the long cycle clean and jerk exercise and 3rd place among adults in the clean and jerk exercise.

It should be noted that the championship winner lifts weights from the 9th grade. He is a pupil of the Arkalyk Youth Sports School. He has the title of master of sports of international class in kettlebell lifting.
