The Olympiad was attended by 35 schoolchildren from the secondary school No. 4 named after Keiki Batyr and the school-gymnasium named after Y. Altynsarin.

Saule Svyazkhanovna Baizakova, the head of the EP Saule Svyazkhanovna Baizakova, addressed the children with a welcoming speech. In her address, she spoke in detail about the course of the Olympiad, the procedure for completing work and filling out answers, and wished all the participants good luck.
The Olympics were held in two rounds. In the first round, schoolchildren worked with test tasks that contained theoretical questions and practical tasks in sections of the informatics course. 15 participants passed to the second round. In the second round, the participants of the Olympiad performed the software implementation of solving the tasks.
The evaluation of the works was carried out by the jury, which included competent specialists and leading teachers of the university.
“Participation in intellectual competitions is always excitement, responsibility, and a great honor. Schoolchildren achieve high results thanks to diligence, determination, perseverance, the help of teachers and the support of parents,” said Dean of the Faculty Alibek Yeskermesuly.

Schoolchildren successfully coped with the tasks of the Olympiads, as a result of which the winners of the competition were determined:

2nd place: Sapabekov Rasul Kazgeldievich. Student of the 11th grade of the gymnasium named after Y. Altynsarin, supervisor: Alimgereeva G.E.
3rd place: Sagyndykova Munira Tolegenovna. A student of the 9th grade of the gymnasium named after Y. Altynsarin, supervisor: Mukhambetzhanov A.T.
3rd place: Ismagambetova Fariza Talgatkyzy. A student of the 10th grade of the gymnasium named after Y. Altynsarin, supervisor: Mukhambetzhanov A.T.
The winners and participants were awarded diplomas of 1,2,3 degrees and letters of thanks.
