As part of the Academic Leadership Institute program, the third module Data driven decision making (Making decisions based on data) has started. Offline training was held on the basis of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuymebayev addressed the participants of the training, noting that the third module of the program "Making decisions based on data" was developed by KazNU specialists. The knowledge and skills gained during the training period at the KazNU module will help to effectively determine the design, scope and nature of strategic changes in various areas of activity using appropriate data and analytical methods.

“This Program is aimed at creating and expanding highly professional and effective management teams of universities with the skills to manage change in a rapidly changing environment. I think that this is an excellent school and motivation for the effective management of the country's universities,” the head of the university emphasized.
The event was also attended by: Director General of the Digital Government Support Center Rustem Bigari, Head of the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPR RK Zhandos Shaimardanov, Regional Director of the QS Agency Sergey Khristolubov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Center for the Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the State Institution "National Bank of Kazakhstan" Aidana Kaskyrbek, employees KazNU named after al-Farabi and other experts.

The Academic Leadership Institute program consists of 9 modules, each of which covers specific transformation processes at the university, such as the values ​​of universities and their significance for society, leadership, restructuring the university, addressing student issues and ensuring the quality of academic programs, etc.
During the training, the leadership of universities - rectors, vice-rectors, deans and directors of departments - will update their knowledge and master the skills and innovative technologies necessary for the effective management of universities in today's complex and dynamic environment.

It should be noted that the rector of the Altynsarin Institute Yerzhan Amirbekuly and the dean of the Faculty of Natural Science and Informatization of the Institute Alibek Yeskermesuly were among the participants.
The Academic Leadership Institute program, which started in April 2023, will last until October 2023 and will include lectures by representatives of ministries, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as national and international experts in the field of higher education.
The project was initiated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNHE) of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Graduate School of Education of Nazarbayev University.
