As part of the trip to the regions, the deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerkin Amanzholovich Abil, together with the deputies of the city maslikhat, visited the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin.

During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the activities of the university, its readiness for the new academic year, with the work of the selection committee, and also met with the teaching staff of the institute.
The deputies, together with teachers, discussed topical issues in the development of higher education and science.
“For the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute, as the only specialized university in the region, it is responsible to contribute to the implementation of large-scale plans for the development of domestic education. The main task today is to prepare high-quality teachers for the country's schools. I hope that ArkPI will be actively engaged in organizing retraining and advanced training of such personnel,” deputy Yerkin Abil said in his speech.
In turn, the rector of the institute, Yerzhan Amirbekuly, spoke about the vision of the institute in the field of creating innovative educational programs, opportunities to improve the skills of the teaching staff, teachers of educational institutions and the implementation of the program for the development of higher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result of the meeting, the deputy, having listened to the proposals of the meeting participants, promised to discuss them at meetings in the Parliament.
