Today Altynsarin Institute was visited by the participants of the Atbasar-Amangeldy bike ride. Bicycle trip, dedicated to the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Amangeldy Imanov, passes through the territory of the Torgai region from the city of Atbasar to the village of Amangeldy, the route of which is 454 km. One of the points of the run was the city of Arkalyk.

The tour kicked off the first week of September 2023. In addition to the seven main team members, the oldest of whom is 78 years old, the group is accompanied on some sections by "guest cyclists".

According to the cyclists themselves, the purpose of the bike ride is to promote the exploits of the leaders of the national liberation movements among the youth of cities and villages along the route. “Our bike ride started from the central square of the city of Atbasar and passed through the villages of Zaporozhye, Arkalyk, Kenesary, the end point is the village of Amangeldy,” said one of the participants.

Rector Yerzhan Amirbekuly greeted the participants of the bike ride at ArkPI. He wished them good luck and expressed confidence that this race would become traditional and popular.
