A graduate of the Serpin program at Altynsarin Institute teaches classes using artificial intelligence
Over the past five years, Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. About 700 graduates graduated from Altynsarin under the Serpin program.
The Serpin program is characterized by the concepts of education, work, and future for young applicants. The nationwide, socially significant project has become one of the most popular social initiatives in the country. This program trains specialists for industrial and innovative projects and organizes vocational education, which is in demand among young people in regions with a large labor force. Accordingly, it solves the problems of youth potential and unemployment.
Altynsarin Institute began recruiting applicants under the Serpin program in 2019. As a result, Serpin graduates work in schools and educational organizations throughout the Kostanay region.
As you know, in accordance with the requirements of the social program, a student enrolled on a grant basis will be required to find employment in the same region after 4 years of study.
Today in schools in the city of Arkalyk you can meet teachers who are graduates of the Serpin program who have entered the teaching profession on Torgai land. One of them is Umarbekov Abudallah Daniyarovich, a 2021 graduate of the educational program “6B01501-Mathematics” of the Faculty of Natural Science and Informatization. In 2017, he graduated from the 11th grade of a school in the Turkestan region and entered the northern region on the basis of a state grant under the Serpin program. Now he works as a mathematics teacher at the school-gymnasium named after I. Altynsarin.
According to the terms of the Serpin program, the service period is 3 years, and Abdullah has been working for the third year today. The main thing is that a graduate of the institute, combined with acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills, fully meets the requirements of a modern digital teacher.
He has committed himself to using the latest innovative methods and techniques in his lessons and has mastered the ins and outs of teaching with the help of artificial intelligence, which has gained a reputation in recent times. At the school, students carried out research on various aspects of mathematics and its applications, as well as on topics such as process optimization, data analysis, and the development of mathematical models for solving specific problems, and together with their students achieved significant results.
In addition, with a report at the international seminar “A new result-oriented model of physics and mathematics education - the basis of professional training and conducting master classes” on the topic “Features of teaching subjects and increasing the competence of teachers in the new academic year.” He also organized coaching on the topic “Possibilities of Artificial Intelligence in STEM Technology” and took 1st place in the competition among young professionals “Festival of Pedagogical Ideas.”.
In his speech: “During 3-4 years of studying at the institute, I got the opportunity to work in two identical schools for dual education. Thanks to the methodical education taught by the faculty, I quickly got along with the students. At the end of the school year, having scored high on the National Qualification Test for Teachers, I got a job at a gymnasium school in the city. Since entering the Serpin program, I have settled into a cozy student dormitory. Perhaps I focused all my attention on my studies and training, so I had no problems with finding a job,” said a graduate of the institute.
It is worth noting that Abdullah recently started a family and expressed a desire to settle in this region even after completing the Serpin program commitment to employment. Thus, the consolidation of youth from the south in the northern region indicates that the program is being implemented and is bearing fruit.
