Brief information about the Department
Russian Russian and foreign languages practical course Department has been reorganized since the beginning of the new 2017 academic year and is called the Department of foreign languages, Russian language and literature.

Brief historical background
The Department of foreign languages was founded in 1993. Since that day, hundreds of graduates who are the pride of our University have been given a start in life.
The head of the Department of foreign languages since the Foundation of the Institute was Rakhmetova Saule Alekenovna-an experienced teacher, honored teacher, associate Professor of the Institute.
The Department cooperates with teachers from near and far abroad: a scientist from Germany Spere read a special course at the German-Kazakh Department at the English-Kazakh Department, for two years a volunteer from the United States Tiwansighetti worked.
2008. Jana Dummler, a volunteer who came from Kostanay, a representative of the Goethe Institute in Bonn, Germany, conducted seminars among teachers and students.
2009. Katarina Book, a volunteer representative of the University of Bristol, taught classes for students of 2-4 years.
In 2017, with the Dean of the faculty of pre-school education, PhD Eva smetanova, University of Trnava Cyril methodia (Slovakia) taught classes for 4-year students.
The Department of Russian language and literature was founded in 1972 together with the formation of the Arkalyk pedagogical Institute.
In 1992-1994, the Department was headed by associate Professor Abisheva K. M., in 1994-1999 - senior lecturer Abdikhalykova B. M.
in 1992-1996, the head of the Department of Kazakh literature and practical Kazakh, Russian languages was K. F. nerzhanova G. K., in 1996-2001-senior lecturer Kenzheakhmetov S. K.
In August 2002, by order of the rector of the Institute, the Department of Kazakh language and literature and the Department of Russian language and literature were merged, and K. M. Abisheva headed the joint Department.
In 2003, associate Professor of the Department Abisheva K. M. defended her doctoral dissertation in the specialty "Russian language".
In the 2004-2005 academic year, the duties of the head of the Department were performed by senior lecturer Zheksembayeva L. B.
Since 2005, the Department was headed by Ph. D. Rakhmetova S. A.
In the 2006-2008 academic year, the duties of the head of the Department were performed by the senior lecturer Iskakova B. D.
In the 2008-2016 academic year, the duties of the head of the Department were performed by the senior lecturer, master Bagitzhanova sh. S.
In the 2016-2017 academic year, the duties of the head of the Department were performed by associate Professor, candidate of pedagogical Sciences Koldasbayeva Z. sh.
