180 years since the birth of the great teacher of the nation I.Altynsarin

180 years since the birth of the great teacher of the nation, an outstanding educator, ethnographer, folklorist, public figure Ibrai Altynsarin. The Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin hosted an international scientific and practical conference "Pedagogical ideas and educational activities of Ibray Altynsarin".
The conference was opened by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute Kuanyshbayev Seitbek Bekenovich. The first part of the organized conference began with the ceremony of laying flowers at the bust of I.Altynsarin with the participation of the akimat of the city.
The event was attended by teachers of the republic, the President of the National Academy of Education named after I.Altynsarin, Deputy head of the Kostanay Regional Memorial Museum I. Altynsarin, researchers-ibraevedists, professors of the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilev and Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov, as well as professor from Turkey of the Kochman University Mugla Sytki.
The purpose of the conference was to study the legacy of Ibray, his creative activities, methods of teaching and raising children, the implementation of his ideas in the field of education today, as well as the popularization of his indelible teachings and moral heritage to the younger generation. The conference received several scientific articles from all over the republic, as well as from abroad.
At the plenary session, new facts about the life of a great personality, the educational significance of pedagogical heritage, and works were analyzed and discussed. The continuation of the conference was a round table on the topic "Ulttyn uly ustazy". It was attended by the Department of Education of the city of Arkalyk, the teaching staff of the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute, heads of colleges, the I. Altynsarin City Gymnasium and students.
