
A dialogue platform on the topic “Youth in science and technology commercialization” was held in the capital
On April 6, 2023, the dialogue platform “Technology Commercialization Point” was held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic: “Youth in science and technology commercialization”.
Among the participants are representatives of the Altynsarin Institute.
The speakers were young scientists, heads of scientific and youth organizations, representatives of universities and centers:

- Acting Director General of the National Center for Biotechnology Aisha Iskakova, - Chairman of the Board of JSC Center for International Programs Olzhas Sakenov, - Author of the book "From Idea to Publication" Kairat Moldashev,
- Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Atyrau State University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov Yelaman Aibuldinov,
- Yulia Vyatkina, Chief Investment and New Projects Manager of the Science Foundation, - Beibit Abdikenov, Vice-Chairman of the public association Young Researchers Alliance,
- Expert of the Department of Analysis and Communications of the Research Center "Youth" Kamilla Manakova,
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Toraighyrov University - Toraighyrov University Nurlan Uteshev,
- Director of KBTU Startup Incubator Vladimir Popov,
- Researcher at National Laboratory Astana Ayaulym Nurgozhina.
Opening the meeting, Chairman of the Board of the Science Foundation Abdilda Shamenov focused on the participation of young people in building a knowledge-intensive economy and spoke separately about measures of state support for young scientists.
During the meeting, scientists and experts discussed issues of science, problems and prospects for its development. They also considered the role of young scientists in the industry and the issues of introducing scientific developments into production.
Head of the National Academic Library Gaziza Nurgaliyeva spoke about the work carried out to support young researchers.
The Chairman of the Board of the Center for International Programs emphasized the need for training personnel in the field of IT, innovation, engineering, and industrial technologies.
The meeting participants shared their experience in attracting young people to the commercialization of science, spoke about the role of university corporate governance in the development of youth science, about the opportunities and prospects of the Bolashak program, and about the rules for participating in the "500 Scientists" project.
At the end of the event, the Science Foundation signed memorandums with the Center for International Programs and the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives.
