Today, as part of the republican action “One Country - One Book”, the information and comprehensive library of the institute conducted a thematic review “Master of works of art - Tolen Abdikuly”.

The event was organized with the aim of promoting the best works of national literature, preserving the spiritual heritage, introducing young people to it, spiritual and patriotic education of the younger generation, as well as increasing public interest in domestic literature, including the classics, modern literature and poetry.

The organizers touched upon the most pressing issues from the writer’s work, such as the front of the mind, illness of the mind and pain, split personality, illness of the hero, which is unusual for ordinary people, and the search for philosophical existence.
At the same time, the biography and creative path of the Kazakh writer, playwright, and public figure Tolen Abdikula were widely discussed, and thematic reviews of his works were made.

During the evening, students read the works of the author “Tus”, “Otken Kunder”, as well as poems by Mukhtar Shakhanov “Rukh mektebindegi mun”, Murat Zhunisuly “Tolen Agama”, dedicated to T. Abdikuly.
In addition, a book exhibition dedicated to the work of the writer “Another Gift of Nature” was organized.
Guests were presented with a book trailer, as well as an assignment to write an essay on the topic “The Value of Parents.”
It should be noted that in 2023, as part of the “One Country – One Book” campaign, the reading of the works of Tolen Abdykuly was approved. A traditional event of this level at Altynsarin Institute is held annually.
