Researcher at the Center for Psychodiagnostics and Consulting at Altynsarin Institute Smailova Guldana Sarsenbaevna held a consultation at the Arkalyk City Children and Youth Sports School on the topic “Psychological preparation of athletes.”

An event with sports school teachers-coaches has become a necessary procedure that directly affects the psychological preparation, psychological confidence, and psychological self-regulation of the athlete.
During the psychological counseling, a presentation of the center was held, and interactive work was carried out with the participants. G.S. Smailova taught trainers-teachers simple and effective methods of using physical, technical, tactical and psychological aspects of training.

Ideomotor training and auto-training were also carried out with athletes participating in the Republican Kazakh Kures Championship among youth in Aktobe from February 25 to 29.
An analysis of the goals of participation in competitions was carried out, the levels of motivation and psychological readiness for competitions were determined.

For joint methodological recommendations, the staff of the Arkalyk City Children and Youth Sports School gave positive feedback and expressed a desire to continue to use the activities of the Scientific Center.
