The Altynsarin Institute hosted an exhibition organized by the information and comprehensive library dedicated to National Publication Day.

Periodicals and the book exhibition “Halyktyn kozi, kulagy һam tili”, dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the newspaper “Kazak”, which in the first decade of the twentieth century became the main source of solving problems that took place in Kazakh society, contributed to public thinking.

The purpose of the exhibition is to provide information about the history of the publication of the newspaper “Kazak” and the goals of the publication, about the continuation of the life of the modern newspaper, and to attract readers to the library complex.
During the event, visitors to the exhibition were presented with the pages of the Qazaq newspaper for 2013-2020, republished in 2006 as a legitimate continuation of the Qazaq newspaper, organized by the famous writer from the Turgai region Kogabay Sarsekeyev.
The exhibition also presents information about the first newspaper in the Kazakh language by S. Smagulova, G. Anes, T. Zamzaeva “Kazakh: 1913”, “Kazakh”: 1914”, G. Turgaraeva “Socio-political and government activities Akhmet Baitursynov: (1872-1937)”, “Multi-volume collected works” by N. Torekulov.

Participants of the exhibition were provided with important information about how Akhmet Baitursynov, who worked as the editor-in-chief of the Kazakh newspaper, called the publication “Kazak”, about the history of the publication and the continuation of the life of the modern newspaper. Students exchanged views on the place of the historical publication in Kazakh spirituality, which inspired public thought.
