Altynsarin Institute launched a mobile planetarium

In the 2023-2024 academic year, ArkPI named after I. Altynsarin installed a mobile planetarium, which is necessary in the educational process in the subject of astronomy.

The Planetarium is a state scientific and educational institution in the field of astronomy, cosmonautics and Earth sciences. Lectures with demonstrations of astronomical phenomena are held here.
The digital planetarium has a diameter of 4 m and a height of 2.8 m and can accommodate 10-20 people. More than 75 special videos have been collected and shown here in 3D format.
The planetarium displays the celestial sphere along with stars, planets, satellites, comets and meteors; you can see solar and lunar eclipses, a panorama of the Moon, Mars, Venus and the climate zones of the Earth. The demonstration is carried out using a special “Planetarium” device.
According to Anar Kabdygalievna, head of the educational program of physics, physics and computer science: “Currently, students of the educational program of physics, physics and computer science, mathematics and physics use a digital device in the subject of astronomy and practice theoretical knowledge in practice. When the sky revolves inside, it seems to a person watching in the dark that the Sun, Moon, Planets and stars are born from the horizon, rising and setting.”

It should be noted that this device is installed in the central lobby of the Altynsarin Institute. Here the expert, explaining the artificial sky, gives detailed information about the structure of the world. This is a great opportunity for applicants who arrived at UNT in January-February to momentarily go into the sky and get cosmic impressions.
