In Arkalyk, on the initiative of the Youth Resource Center, a citywide cleanup event “Arkalyk is a clean city” was held.

The purpose of the cleanup is to clean and put in order the territory of the city, and to cultivate an environmental culture.
100 volunteer students of the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after Y. Altynsarin took part in the event, thereby contributing to the cleanliness of the city.

Based on the results of the draw, the students of the institute were given the task of cleaning the territory of the “Veterans Park” and the “Monument to A. Baitursynov.” Students, provided with the necessary cleaning tools, cleaned both areas from 10:00 to 12:00.
The cleanup event, aimed at environmental education, was attended by universities and colleges, as well as other educational institutions in the city.
