School teachers and a foreign scientist discussed ways to form and develop students’ digital literacy at the Altynsarin Institute
The Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin hosted an international methodological seminar “Ways of formation and development of digital literacy of students” with the participation of Kazakh and foreign scientists.
As part of the seminar, a scientific and information exchange of Kazakh scientists and students took place with an invited foreign scientist from Indonesia, Doctor of Technical and Professional Education of the State Islamic University named after Sultan Sayrif, Professor Muhammad Lutfi. The scientist noted that through digitalization and the development of information technology there is a path to positive changes in the region and filling the republic’s economy with much-needed personnel.
Active participants in this event were school teachers from Almaty, Turkestan, Kostanay regions, who shared their experience in the field of digital literacy, the use of digital technologies and robotics in education.
Let us note that one of the instructions of President K.K. Tokayev, voiced during his speech at the Digital Bridge forum, is to improve the quality of teaching children digital literacy and computer science in Kazakhstan.
Listeners of the international seminar highly appreciated the holding of a significant event. They expressed their gratitude and special gratitude to the invited foreign scientist from Indonesia, Muhammad Lutfi, as well as to the organizers of the educational program “Informatics and ICTD”.
At the end of the event, the speakers were awarded letters of gratitude and certificates.
