3rd year student of the Chemistry-Biology Department, Zeynel Elnura, took part in the republican competition of youth business projects “Menin Armanym” among college students, higher educational institutions and undergraduates.
The competition was held on the basis of the Central Asian Innovation University with the aim of intensifying innovation activities by involving students and undergraduates in entrepreneurial activities.
Students from colleges and higher educational institutions and undergraduates from all regions of the country took part in the competition.
Let us note that Elnura passed all three stages of the competition, which included:
• the first stage – giving a lecture online/offline with business trainers of the NCE RK “Atameken”, business leaders
• the second stage - the qualifying stage was held at the Department of Business and Tourism of the university to identify relevant projects;
• the third stage – the final, where the projects were defended.
According to the organizers, such events help to popularize innovative entrepreneurship in the educational environment.
The competition was managed by a competition commission, which included the vice-rector for HP and MS Kazanbaeva Zh.S., from the department of “Business and Tourism” Shadieva A.A., the head of the department “Economics and Management” Kamalov A.A., representatives of the Scientific and Production Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", representatives of the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund, business partners, entrepreneurs.
Elnura submitted a project called “Nanny” to the competition. The idea is that parents can quickly find a babysitter for their child who will help with homework, pick him up from school or take him to school. Elnura notes that babysitting is a fairly common phenomenon in America, where a similar project, Urbansitter, was launched back in 2010.
According to the results of the decision of the competition commission, Altynsarin Institute student Zeynel Elnura took second prize. Scientific supervisor, teacher of the EP “Chemistry, Chemistry and Biology, Biology” Akhatova S.Zh. The winner intends to promote the project through cooperation with businessmen, as well as through social networks.
It is gratifying to note that our student’s project took 2nd place and made an indelible impression on the jury members. The winners of the competition were awarded cash prizes and valuable prizes, as well as assistance from investors in implementing their business ideas.
We congratulate the teacher and student on their victory and wish them further creative success!
