A group of scientists from the ArkPI named after Y. Altynsarin, headed by the Chairman of the Board - Rector Yerzhan Amirbekuly, took part in a working meeting on the issue of creating a Science Council in Kostanay.

The event was organized to ensure the participation of the region in determining the priority tasks of science aimed at solving the problems and needs of industry and regions.
Here gathered heads of universities of the region, doctors of science with high research activity, candidates, masters, representatives of government agencies and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Akhmed-Zaki spoke about the goals and objectives of the scientific council. The moderator of the event was Deputy Akim of the Kostanay region Rinat Mukhametkali.

In addition, Rector Yerzhan Amirbekuly made a report on the development of science and problems in universities, outlining priority areas for scientific development.

It is worth noting that the council was implemented within the framework of the instruction of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the creation of the Council on Science under the akimats at the first meeting of the National Council on Science and Technology under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 12, 2023 in Astana.
