On September 18-20, 2024, a meeting of students and employees of the university with representatives of the branch of JSC Otbasy Bank was held at Altynsarin Institute as part of the information and explanatory program "National Fund for Children".

At the meeting, which was held in the format of a presentation, the speakers told the university employees about the program for opening a deposit for housing and education, and also shared valuable knowledge about financial literacy.

The guests provided detailed instructions on the necessary steps to participate in the programs, and also shared useful information about the credit system. Bank representatives distributed information booklets and answered questions.

During the meeting with the students, bank specialists explained to the students that, according to the "National Fund for Children" project, half of the investment income of the National Fund is annually distributed among children under 18.
The students received useful and up-to-date information about the program, as well as how to open a deposit for housing and education. Bank representatives showed students step by step what documents are required: the presence of an electronic digital signature, opening an account, etc.

It should be noted that when a child reaches 18 years of age, target savings accounts are opened for him in the National Insurance Fund. Money from this account can be used for housing and education. Students were also told how to open an electronic digital signature key and deposit accounts from Otbasy Bank.

For three days, bank representatives shared valuable advice and practical recommendations on these issues, which helped students and teachers better understand what steps to take to ensure financial stability and achieve life goals.
