On October 18-19, 2024, representatives of Altynsarin Institute, led by Chairman of the Board and Rector Yerzhan Amirbekuly, took part in the CONNECTED-2024 international conference in Astana.

The forum participants also included representatives from partner universities of the I. Altynsarin ArkPI. These are scientists from Turkey, PhD, Prof. Hikmet Korash, as well as from Indonesia, Prof. Saide and M.I.M Herzavina.

The conference is dedicated to understanding the future through the prism of cultures, philosophies, technologies and interaction with nature.
The event was attended by about 1,500 delegates from more than 20 countries. Among them are leading futurologists, philosophers, innovators, representatives of international organizations and large corporations.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duisenova spoke at the grand opening of the event and delivered a welcoming message on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Head of State noted that CONNECTED 2024 is a unique project aimed at discussing creative ideas, predicting the future, and exchanging advanced knowledge and experience.
"Kazakhstan, in cooperation with leading foreign universities, is actively working to create an academic hub. We are forming a solid foundation for increasing the scientific and innovative potential of the country, and the CONNECTED 2024 conference will give impetus to achieving this goal. I am confident that today's event will contribute to strengthening international ties between scientists and experts, as well as developing new approaches to the development of education and human capital," the Head of State said in his greeting.
Tamara Duisenova reported that, on the instructions of the Head of State, 23 leading world universities have already begun their work in Kazakhstan. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the strategic partners on behalf of the Government and spoke about the key goals of this step.
The conference program is focused on three key areas: "Future Shaping", "Future Education & Science" and "EdTech and Impact Entrepreneurship".
One of the key topics of CONNECTED-2024 was "Education and Science of the Future", within the framework of which issues of forming intellectual capital for global leadership and new models of scientific development were discussed.
The key speakers of the conference include famous futurologists, scientists and public figures, including Yuval Noah Harari, Rae Kwon Chung, Peggy Liu and others.
