On November 15, 2024, as part of the School of Young Teachers, senior lecturer of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Philology Nursali K.S. organized a seminar "Zotero for teachers: organizing and managing a library" dedicated to studying the capabilities of this program.

The objectives of the seminar included: demonstrating the benefits of using the program for teachers and researchers; organizing a digital library - adding sources, creating thematic folders and using tags; automating the processes of citing and formatting bibliographies in various styles (numeric, APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).

During the practical part of the seminar, participants were able to install and configure Zotero on their devices; add sources to the digital library; test the automatic citation functions.
The teachers mastered the basic functions of Zotero, which will allow them to optimize their work with scientific sources and save time on publication design.

Young teachers noted the convenience and accessibility of Zotero, and also expressed a desire to use this tool in their academic and teaching activities.
