The purpose of the EP: to train a qualified teacher of Russian language and literature in schools with a non-Russian language of instruction, competent in the professional field.

Tasks of the EP: 

• improving the quality of training of philologists, their professional and methodological competence through the study of cultural (primarily linguistic and literary), socio-historical experience;
• improvement of linguistic, speech, literary, communicative and stylistic knowledge, skills and abilities of students;
• improving the skills of students to comprehend the patterns of language, stylistically competently use language units in communicative activities;
• formation of readiness for social and communicative interaction, for professional work, improvement of information literacy;
• ensuring high-quality professional training of future teachers of Russian language and literature in schools with a non-Russian language of instruction in accordance with the social order of the society and regulatory legal documents in the field of higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• mastering the methods of physical, spiritual and intellectual self-development, self-knowledge, self-reflection, culture of pedagogical thinking and social and communicative behavior.

The uniqueness of the EP: 

The uniqueness of the educational program "Russian Language and Literature in Schools with Non-Russian Language of Instruction" lies in defining and specifying methodological approaches (interdisciplinary, competency-based, system-activity, and cognitive-synergistic) that serve as a conceptual foundation for establishing continuity between the pedagogical legacy of Ibray Altynsarin and the innovative processes taking place in higher education in Kazakhstan. These include the integration of digitalization and generative artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process, the development of a conceptual model of the educational environment that combines traditions and innovations, and the aim to enhance the quality of teacher training for a new generation of professionals in demand in the labor market.
