Half a kilometer from the village of Michurin, Kostanay region, there is the mausoleum of I. Altynsarin.

Students of the institute visited the facility, the foundation of which was laid in 1991, on the eve of Teacher's Day.
The students paid tribute to the spirit of the outstanding Kazakh educator, teacher, ethnographer, writer Ibray Altynsarin and dedicated it to the Koran.
In addition, they recited the great teacher’s poems by heart and showed their respect.
The area of the complex is 68 square meters, height 15 meters, made of limestone. Granite stone was used in the construction, and the facade is decorated with decorative elements in the national style.
In addition to the restored mausoleum, there are two granite stands, one of which shows a map of the schools opened by I. Altynsarin, and the second from the presidential program in Kazakh, Russian and English.
In 2017, the mausoleum was reconstructed, the area and height were increased. White limestone-shell rock and granite brought from the Mangystau region were used for finishing. In addition, the entire surrounding area has been landscaped, lighting has been installed, and areas for events have been provided.
The Mausoleum of I. Altynsarin is a sacred object that inspires the descendants of the “Alash Lions”.
