In honor of October 1, the International Day of Older Persons, the volunteer movement “From Heart to Heart,” created at the Center for Social Problems and Youth Policy, congratulated labor veterans.  

Congratulations on the eve of the holiday were organized with the aim of instilling in young people respect and veneration for old age, recognition of the merits of older people, their multifaceted contribution to the development of the state.
It should be noted that the trade union organization of Altynsarin Institute workers, with the support of the Chairman of the Board-Rector E. Amirbekuly, made honoring veterans traditional.
Volunteers visited 14 addresses of elderly pensioners in Arkalyk and presented cards and gifts. According to student volunteers, communication with grandparents helps to look at life differently, this is a kind of reassessment of values.
Special gifts and concert performances by the youth gave the adults a good mood.
