June 7, 2024 in Astana on the basis of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumileva hosted the republican conference "Anti-corruption compliance in the sphere of higher education".

Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, employees of the RK Anti-Corruption Agency, experts in the field of anti-corruption compliance, compliance officers and university teachers took part in the conference. Z.N. Batyrova, compliance officer of Altynsarin institute, became a witness to the seminar.

The content of the conference covered the following topics:
1. Problematic issues in the sphere of anti-corruption compliance in higher education and ways to solve them.
2. Corruption risks in the implementation of personnel policy in higher education institutions.
3. Comprehensive verification of counterparties.
Issues of digitization as a tool of anti-corruption compliance in the field of higher education were also considered. Aipara Adibai, an expert in the field of anti-corruption compliance of "Digital Compliance" LLP, noted this in his report.
In particular, the speaker shared information that 86% of documents on higher and post-graduate education issued since 1991 have been digitized. Accordingly, it allows you to check the authenticity of diplomas during employment.

At the conference, the issues of the possibility of using biometrics to control student attendance and blockchain in the system of higher education were considered.
At the end of the seminar, the participants were given a certificate and a training session was held.
