On January 18, 2024, at the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin, a meeting was held with employees of the Department of Internal Affairs on the topic “Measures for the prevention of crime.

The purpose of the meeting is to prevent crime among university students. Popularization and familiarization of young people with the prerequisites of state or public order.
The meeting was held offline for 4th year students, online for 1st-3rd year students.

The main speaker of the event was the head of the local police inspectorate department of the local police service of the city of Arkalyk, police major Utegenov Medet Utegenovich. He cited as an example events in the region that were in the nature of crimes, and carried out explanatory work that the life and safety of every student are protected.
In addition, Medet Utegenovich noted: “every student is prohibited by law from encroaching on the identity of a legal entity or other person. Raising the level of legal culture of citizens is becoming one of the pressing topics of today,” he said.

The course of the event actively continued with a dialogue between the speaker and students.
