Chairman of the Board-Rector Yerzhan Amirbekuly made a report to the public

On November 15 of this year, the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin, Erzhan Amirbekuly, held a reporting meeting with the population on the results of the 2022-2023 academic year.

The reporting meeting was attended by the Altynsarin Institute team, the scientific and pedagogical community, employers and students, city veterans, local citizens, and representatives of the media.

In his report, the Rector discussed in detail and spoke about the university’s personnel potential, student population, educational programs, educational process, research work and international cooperation of the institute, as well as actively implemented educational work, material and technical base and financial and economic activities.
At the meeting, Erzhan Amirbekuly noted that the dynamics of the academic degree of the teaching staff increased by 11.4% compared to the previous academic year, thus, practicing teachers were involved in teaching activities as part-time teachers, whose share for the 2022-2023 academic year is 6.7%.
The institute’s staff sets itself the strategic task of increasing the number of students by attracting foreign students. In this regard, the institute entered into cooperation agreements with the Tashkent Economic and Pedagogical Institute (Uzbekistan) and the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini (Tajikistan). There is a preliminary oral agreement with the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammed Azadi.
To date, the Altynsarin Institute has established mutual international cooperation with the following universities: University of Rzeszow (Rzeszow, Poland), University of Economics (Bydgoszcz, Poland), Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University (Perm, Russia), Omsk Humanitarian Academy (Omsk, Russia), Tashkent Economic and Pedagogical Institute (Tashkent, Uzbekistan).
In addition, Erzhan Amirbekuly presented his work to the attention of the public, where it was emphasized that the institute is working to submit applications for license annexes in order to open master’s degree programs, and has drawn up a plan to increase the number of students to 5,000 people, including by attracting foreign students, and the implementation of master's educational programs. The rector noted the support of local executive bodies in the restoration of the building of the former regional department of agriculture to expand the material base of the institute.
