Research work in the departments of the institute is carried out according to the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Science", "On Education", SES RK 5.03.011 - 2006 "The education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Scientific research in higher education institutions. Main provisions "and other normative - legal, guidance documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The basis of the research work laid the enduring values of theoretical scientific, educational and methodical process of faculty members and students.
The material and technical base of the institute allows teaching and research.
In "Chemistry" has 3 equipped with specialized laboratories: add photo "Analytical, Physical and Colloid Chemistry"
"General Inorganic Chemistry and Chemical Technology"
"Organic and Biological Chemistry."
Educational laboratories: "Botany", "Zoology", "Anatomy and physiology of humans and animals", "Radio Electronics", "Astronomy", "Mechanics", "Molecular physics and electromagnetism", "Optics" and "Atomic Physics".
Research work combines priority practice-oriented pedagogical research and individual approach in determining the directions of research.
A number of departments are research areas that depend on the specifics of the department - the list of disciplines and human capacities of scientists, heads of similar research projects.
  Theoretical and practical research results are being actively implemented in the educational process:
   1) during the teaching of basic and elective courses
   2) the development of teaching materials, publications of scientific and educational literature.
So, for the 2013-2014. the Institute developed and published 7 monographs, 18 teaching aids, recommendations and electronic textbooks, published 317 articles.
Published textbooks - relevant and focused on the development of the national education system; Theoretical and practical significance, performed within established SES and common goals, objectives, scientific research institute.
The positive dynamics of the implementation of applied research, the publication of scientific and educational literature.
The effectiveness of the research work is supported reviews external opponents, as by leading scientists of Kazakhstan.

PPP departments actively publish scientific articles in international journals. During the 2013-2014 year, published 38 works totaling 17.22 pp in scientific publications in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Magnitogorsk), United States (New York, Seattle city), Czech Republic (Prague), Germany
(Freiburg), Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Turkey, Spain, scientific journals with impact factor database SCOPUS and RISC.
During the 2013-2014 year, 116 teachers and professors of the Institute participated in 74 scientific conferences, seminars, exhibitions, forums, including - 45 international, 18 national and 6 regional conferences and seminars 5.
As part of the research activities in the institute during the reporting period held 39 scientific and practical conferences, seminars, workshops and competitions of scientific works with the release of thematic collections of materials.
  Mechanism to assess the effectiveness of the research work of the Institute is a system of annual reporting of structural units for research work where effectiveness is evaluated by qualitative and quantitative indicators: the number of publications, participation in conferences, implementation of R & D in the educational process, etc. The university administration is carried out systematically cut by the degree of satisfaction of students and faculty involvement in research work.
