The opening ceremony of the center of ethnopedagogy and ethnopsychology “Kazyna” took place at the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin.

The center, created at the ArkPI Research Center, is designed to expand the scientific infrastructure of the institute, increase students’ interest in research work and improve their ethnocultural-cognitive views, improve the quality and relevance of research work.

The center, which includes research, modern-experimental, information and service areas, teaches a person to adapt to legal customs and traditions, adopt the values of relations of various public associations, and use the achievements of national education in a real situation.
Akhmetova Pernekul Alimkyzy, a teacher, now retired, worked at the institute for many years and gave lectures on ethnopedagogy, and was the founder of a specialized office on ethnopedagogy. Also taking part in the event were the director of the regional museum of history “Dala Olkesi” Terek Rauan Abdullazhanuly, the correspondent of the regional newspaper “Kostanay Tany” Murat Zhunisuly, the head of the research center Zhanar Baiseitova, teachers and students of the institute.

Retired teacher P.A. Akhmetova noted in her speech: “We have high hopes for the future of the center, which promotes the incomparable heights of the nation’s spirituality. I am sure that it will become a platform that will enhance the national spirit of students and teachers and inspire their patriotism. The reason is that our country needs not only an educated citizen, but also a patriot. It’s very nice that such a center is opening within the walls of an educational institution that trains future teachers.”

The center's research fellow, Zaure Toyshybekovna, made a presentation, focusing on the goals and objectives of the scientific center, and spoke about long-term work plans.

In the future, the center of ethnopedagogy and ethnopsychology “Kazyna” plans to cooperate with cultural and educational centers of the city of Arkalyk.
During the event, students demonstrated their creative skills by performing musical performances.
