At the beginning of December, representatives of the management of Altynsarin Institute paid a working visit to Tatarstan. The delegation, represented by the Chairman of the Board - Rector Yerzhan Amirbekuly, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Philology Aibek Kaliev, Dean of the Faculty of History and Art Gulbarshin Konkina, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Science and Information Technology Alibek Eskermesuly and Head of the Research Center Zhanar Baiseitova visited Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University.

During the meeting with the rector of the university Alfinur Galiakberova, potential areas of cooperation between universities were discussed. The rector of NSPU told the guests about the potential of the University, which, within the framework of the scientific and educational cluster, can be in demand among colleagues from Kazakhstan. She also noted that the University is ready to offer a wide range of educational programs, including additional advanced training programs, if there is demand from the partner region.

A campus tour was conducted for the delegation. The guests were given a tour of the laboratories of the Technopark of Universal Pedagogical Competencies and the Pedagogical Quantorium. We also visited the museum, the complex research laboratory, assessed the capabilities of the language laboratory, got acquainted in detail with the university faculties, and attended student classes.

After the excursion, a round table was held with the participation of rectors, deans of faculties, and heads of structural divisions of the two universities. In his speech, ArkPI Rector Amirbekuly Yerzhan emphasized the importance of further strengthening the partnership. According to him, the experience of Naberezhnye Chelny Pedagogical University is very important: “Today we were all impressed by the university’s infrastructure, material and technical base. We wish and are ready to cooperate with you in several areas.”

During the negotiations, the parties discussed a number of issues on the joint development of a roadmap to strengthen cooperation, deepen scientific research between the two universities, strengthen the exchange of students and teaching staff, launch double-degree educational programs in pedagogical areas, organize joint scientific seminars, etc.

At the end of the meeting, a cooperation agreement signing ceremony took place. Based on the signed agreement, NSPU and ArkPI will implement joint scientific projects, organize lectures, seminars, conferences, and also establish academic exchange. In the near future, a detailed roadmap for the points of the agreement will be drawn up.
