From October 10 to 12, 2023, at the invitation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan and the Center for International Programs, the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin took part in international exhibition “Healthcare, education and sports in the era of the Renaissance of a powerful state”, which was held as part of the Days of Education of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by scientists, specialists and guests from around the world, as well as heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and other heads of organizations.
For guests of the educational exhibition, a delegation from Altynsarin Institute made presentations about the conditions and opportunities created for students at ArkPI, educational processes, educational directions, and the system of working with students. It is worth noting that during the exhibition, over 150 Turkmen students and their parents showed interest in the educational programs of the institute.

As part of the visit, a meeting of the ArkPI delegation with the leadership of Turkmen universities and with representatives of invited foreign universities took place, as well as negotiations with diplomats from both countries. All parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of academic mobility, attracting applicants to study at ArkPI, and agreed to join forces to implement the assigned tasks.
According to the rector of the Altynsarin Institute, Erzhan Amirbekuly, the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin is making active efforts to internationalize scientific and educational activities and develop academic mobility, which is the most important condition for increasing the international competitiveness of the university and responding to the challenges of globalization.

At the plenary and sectional sessions of the International Conference, participants discussed the latest achievements and development prospects in the field of educational technologies, medicine and sports, and an exchange of experience took place between representatives of different countries. In addition, the Kazakh delegation visited the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annaev and the Research and Production Center for Horse Breeding in the city of Arkadag. The guests got acquainted with the scientific and educational process, cultural and sports infrastructure, material and technical base and international relations of the academy.
The results were summed up at the closing ceremony of the International Scientific Conference and Exhibition in the meeting hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
